On a chilly Sunday afternoon this fall, my husband and I packed up the SUV, gathered our children and headed south for a much-needed family vacation. Just when you think you have your home perfectly childproofed, Christmas comes along and you have to worry about wobbly trees, tiny lights, and enticing ornaments.
