Lewes kicks-off another Fun Friday German-style, with its first annual Oktobefest on Friday, September 23rd. What the Germans stretch out over 16 days, Lewes will do in just one, so that means it'll be a synthesised experience of Bavarian-inspired food, entertainment, crafts, merchandise...and of course, beer!

The first ever Delaware Lighthouse Festival is an event that has been centuries in the making. Happening on Saturday, August 11 from 10a-4p at the Cape May Ferry Terminal in Lewes, the festival celebrates and honors Delaware's historic and iconic lighthouses that were often times more than just a beacon in the night but also signs of hope, refuge and safety.

The event will feature lighthouse exhibit booths to the Cape Henlopen Lighthouse, East End Breakwater Lighthouse, Fenwick Island…
