Jennifer, a local artist residing in Rehoboth Beach since the early 1980's, will be showing her large oil paintings at The Buttery Restaurant in historic downtown Lewes from July 31 through September 11 2011.
Born and raised in the artist lifestyle, her father, John Beisel, was a prominent Wilmington artist. After Jennifer attended Brandywine High School in Wilmington, Delaware, she continued her studies and graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art. Jennifer has been a self-employed artist for thirty years with nine limited edition prints which all sold within one year. Jennifer's focus is primarily large oils and mixed media paintings consisting of fish, crabs, mermaids, shells and abstract beach life.
The Buttery has opened it's doors and it's walls, allowing local artists the opportunity display their work while not accepting a commission. The restaurant beautifies their space at no cost allowing the artist to pass along the value to the collector. So please, come support our efforts to promote local artists and art.
There will be an artist's opening reception at The Buttery Restaurant
